The unit is half the job - the install is the other half. Our own background-checked crews measure, set, seal and insulate every opening, and they know the lines we quote inside and out because they install them every week.

Windows & Doors Before & After in San Diego, CA
Most window and door companies talk about craftsmanship. We’d rather show you. Every photo below represents a real San Diego home where old, underperforming windows or doors were pulled out and replaced with products from PGT, CGI, CWS, ES Windows, ECO Window Systems, Mr-Glass, Therma-Tru, or ViewLux. The changes aren’t just cosmetic, either. You’re looking at lower energy bills, quieter rooms, and doors that actually close square. Spencer Odell, Owner, has been overseeing work like this since 2009.

Replacing Fogged Double-Pane Windows in Clairemont
Before
AfterThe problem: three bedroom windows had broken seals, so the glass looked permanently steamed up and the homeowner couldn’t enjoy the canyon view. We removed the old sashes, measured for exact replacements, and installed new low-E glass (a thin coating that blocks heat while letting light through) from ES Windows. The result: clear sightlines, a cooler room in August, and a utility bill that dropped within the first two months.
Front Door Replacement in North Park: Fixing a Sticking, Drafty Entry
Before
AfterThe problem: a 1950s wood door had swollen and warped so badly it took a shoulder to open, and air leaked around all four sides. We pulled the old slab and frame, corrected the rough opening, and set a Therma-Tru fiberglass door with new weatherstripping and an adjustable threshold. Now it opens with one finger, and the entry hall stays within a degree or two of the rest of the house. That’s the kind of change you feel the first time you walk through it.
Whole-Home Window Replacement in Scripps Ranch
Before
AfterThe problem: the original aluminum frames from the 1980s were conducting heat straight into the house, and every room near the street picked up traffic noise. We replaced all 14 windows with PGT insulated vinyl units, adding new interior trim and exterior caulking with a 40-year rated sealant. The homeowner told us the house felt noticeably quieter the first night, and the air conditioner ran noticeably less the first summer.
Repairing a Rotted Window Sill in Ocean Beach

The problem: salt air and years of sprinkler overspray had eaten through the bottom sill of a living room window, and the sash no longer seated. We cut out the damaged wood, rebuilt the sill with pressure-treated lumber, re-set the window with a continuous seal, and wrapped the exterior in bent aluminum flashing. It’s a repair, not a replacement, and it’s exactly the kind of job we include in our written repair guarantee: if that repair fails, the second visit is free.
Sliding Glass Door Replacement in La Jolla

The problem: the original aluminum slider had a bent track, so the door needed a running start to open, and the single pane let ocean air and fog chill the dining room. We removed the old frame, installed a CWS sliding door with dual-pane glass and a stainless roller system, then flashed the opening to handle coastal moisture. The door now glides with two fingers, and the room stays comfortable without cranking the heat.
Replacing a Broken Window Latch and Rebalancing a Double-Hung in Mission Hills

The problem: a double-hung window in a 1920s Spanish Revival had a broken latch and worn spiral balances, so it slammed shut if you didn’t prop it open with a book. We replaced the hardware with Mr-Glass components, cleaned the tracks, and re-lubricated the sash channels. It now opens, stays where you put it, and locks with a firm click. Small repair, but it changes how the room functions every day.
